Exploring the Weather Project Pack
Having fun finding out about the weather!
One of the great things about exploring the weather is that you can do it at very different depths. So a 6-year old can keep a weather journal, watch videos about the weather in other parts of the world and measure shadows and rainfall. At the other extreme, teenagers can investigate the Science behind cloud formations, thunderstorms and tornadoes, explore what kinds of renewable energy generation works best in each climate zone, and explore probability and weather forecasting in more depth. So this is a project pack that's accessible from ages 6-14. There's practical Science and Maths, Art and English ideas and -of course - lots of Geography, from map reading to the study of world climate zones.
