Lots of gorgeous craft activities to make the run-up to Christmas time feel exciting and special - with a surprising amount of maths included!
‘Tis the season to be jolly! And to my mind, a lot of the jolliness at Christmas time is the lead-up to it – decorating the home, putting up the tree, preparing yummy food and getting cards and presents sorted. It’s a lovely time to spend with your children – and even more special if you’re hand-crafting some of the preparations. Making your own decorations, cards and presents just adds such a special touch. And – without turning it into a “lesson”, you might be surprised at how much Maths you can incorporate. Weighing and measuring, creating symmetry, exploring 2D and 3D shapes – there’s a lot in here!
